An essay on Tree Plantation
Tree Plantation
"A tree is man's best friend on Earth." When we use trees responsibly and economically, we have one of the most valuable resources on the planet. Trees are called the "lungs of the earth." Without trees, life on Earth would cease to exist. Trees contribute to environmental sustainability in a variety of ways.
During the photosynthesis process, trees produce oxygen and absorb harmful gases such as carbon dioxide. They absorb toxic emissions and other pollutants from industries and vehicles into the atmosphere. Tree roots help to hold the soil together, preventing erosion. The primary cause of landslides is the evident and increased rate of deforestation. Trees, in addition to bearing delicious fruits, provide a natural habitat for various animals, birds, and insects. As a result, destroying a tree implies destroying an entire ecosystem.
Our ancestors left us this planet with all of its resources. Our responsibility is to protect the Earth's fragile ecosystem so that future generations will have a place to call home. Ironically, despite being at the top of the food chain, Homo Sapiens are determined to destroy the things that ensure their survival. There is, however, a silver lining. The situation can be improved by restoring the Earth's green cover and implementing concrete carbon-cutting measures. Let us all take a break. Let us all commit to going green and saving the planet from destruction.
